Paul was born and raised in Peace River, Alberta. He and his brother Dave have been playing with The Trucks since
1982. Influences on his 24 years of singing and playing drums range from the Stones to Johnny Cash.
He has been a part of the Edmonton music scene as a performer and session player since the late 70's. As a songwriter,
Paul has contributed songs to projects for The Trucks and Laura Vinson. He has toured Europe, Australia and South
East Asia in the past few years.
As a member of The Trucks, Paul provides the driving wheel for the rhythm section as well as lead vocals and harmonies.
During his career, Paul has worked for people such as Gary Fjelgard, Valdy, The Gread Western Orchestra, kd lang,
Roy Forbes, KD Moffat, Laura Vinson and Diamond Joe White.
